Joining insurance and legal professionals on a panel to help LSTCA's audience gain important knowledge as they make their way into consulting life.  It's fun to be at an event where I get to both teach and learn! 

I presented the TOP 10 TAX MISTAKES THAT BUSINESS OWNERS MAKE to We-GSBA, the women and gender-expansive initiative within the GSBA. Ah! How satisfying to be able to give folks pro-active advice that they can use BEFORE they get into those trouble spots!

This year, we have the luxury of breaking our annual tax talk with Artist Trust into two: one evening for Federal Taxes and another evening just focusing on Washington State and other local tax issues. Washington State has a unique taxing regime, and it's fun to dive into the details.

Women Business Owners hosted me to discuss taxes for entrepreneurs and business owners. I covered some fundamental tax topics to try to clear some of the fog and will be provided a few tips & tricks for navigating the world of taxes during the year. I love customizing talks to the day's audience, so we left some time for Q&A, too.
