Artist Trust has pivoted to helping Artists get through the pandemic - getting them resources and information so they can get a leg up. As part of that, I've been invited to speak at the upcoming Lunch & Learn on March 11. Attendees are encouraged to submit questions ahead of time so I can compile answers to provide a presentation that I hope will be chock full of helpful tax nuggets. I've been a long-time presenter at Artist Trust and it's great to be able to continue with them through thick & thin!

Women Business Owners will be hosting me on February 22, 2021 to discuss taxes for entrepreneurs and business owners. I'm so pleased to connect with the folks at WBO - in my experience with them so far, they seem like an amazing group of smart and supportive folks. I'll be covering some fundamental tax topics to try to clear some of the fog and will be providing a few tips & tricks for navigating the world of taxes during the year. I love customizing talks to the day's audience, so we'll leave some time for Q&A, too. WBO membership not required to attend! WBO event page

Back for round three! I'm proud to present an annual tax update to the Seattle chapter of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA), this time remotely as we all stay safe at home. I'll miss seeing faces, but I'm so happy to be able to provide valuable information about the major legislation we had in 2020, starting with the Families First act back in March to the Consolidated Appropriations Act in late December.
